Guide and checklist
What to prepare before you order a website.
A practical checklist to bring what matters to your first meeting. Check off what you have, note what’s missing and take the summary with you. No sign-up needed.
How to use it
You don’t need to have everything. This list helps you see what you have and what’s missing before you talk to a designer, to us or to any other provider. Your checkmarks and notes are saved only in this browser; we don’t receive them unless you choose to send them.
Tip: if something is hard, like writing your two sentences, leave it blank. We’ll work on it together at the meeting.
1. Your business in two sentences
It’s the first thing a visitor reads and the hardest part to write. Once it’s clear, the design falls into place around that message.
2. Your brand
At the meeting we evaluate your logo, colors, typography and photos. Having them on hand means no guessing and fewer rounds of revisions.
3. Photos and copy
Your own photos usually say more than stock photos. Your copy doesn’t need to be perfect: we’ll organize it with you.
4. What you want each visitor to do
A site works better when every page points to one clear action: message you, book, order or visit.
5. Where people find you today
We review your current presence before the call so we can talk about your business, not a blank page.
6. How you’ll decide it’s ready
Agreeing from the start on who approves and what gets reviewed keeps revisions quick and clear.

After the checklist
With this ready, the first meeting focuses on your business and your brand. Here’s how we work at Webifi Studio: we meet, evaluate your brand, design your site, you review it and we adjust, and then we launch. You can see the full process or compare the yearly plans.
If you’d rather go on your own, the list also helps you request quotes from other providers and compare them with the same information.
Let’s build your website.
